There's a post!

I couldn't bear to have the blog empty any longer so i have decided to do a bit of ranting... muahahahaha!

Ok, so what is this? and what's going on? I'm sure that is what most people might be wondering once they visit this page. Don't worry, we've just set a list of topics so soon this page will be streaming with updates, stories, Did-you-know's, Malaysian slangs and a whole bunch of other stuff.

So just to give you a head's up on what we're all about......

It started as a PR class assignment and now it's become a full blown mission. We have spent the last 3 weeks or so planning, delegating, and imagining for our campaign because we don't want it to be just another assignment, we want to achieve something. So we are working our butts off trying to plan and organise a huge campaign called Malaysian-lah!

So what is Malaysian-lah? It's like 1Malaysia but it's from a youth's point of view. We're making a statement that says we CAN live in peace and unity and that we DO.We go to school with people from many different races and it hasn't been a problem so why can't everyone else get along too?

-why are we doing Malaysian-lah?
because we - the youth of Malaysia - want a voice of our own.
We want to be able to make our own statements about Malaysia and prove that we do care about what goes on in our country.

So how can you help? By supporting us.
Follow our twitter page -> twitter.com/malaysianlah
Join our Facebook group -> search Campaign MALAYSIAN-LAH!
Read our blog.
Spread the word!
But most importantly of all..... come to our event.

More details coming soon..... ;)

  1. I fully support such efforts by youth.
Although I am 60, I believe and I am convinced that it is the youths themsleves who will define what nis it to be Malaysians.
I am currently working with undergraduates and young graduates. We are in the final stages of developing a 12 weeks course for youths interested to become COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONALS. The course is called "HOPE IN THE YOUNG" or "PEMUDI-PEMUDA, HARAPAN NEGARA".
Yes, the young must voice the type of Malaysia you want, as you will be living in the future Malaysia that now you create.
